The Grade II listed factory known as ‘Gwenda Works’ was sympathetically converted to form eleven unique apartments. Each has its own character.

The building was originally built in 1913 for Sir Henry Manton, silversmith and cut glass manufacturer. It was designed by Birmingham Architect William Doubleday and is recognised as one of the most important examples of Arts and Crafts factory architecture in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

Strawberry Developments worked with the Conservation team at Birmingham City Council to restore this beautiful building to its former glory. It now provides eleven homes for very happy occupants who bought into a unique development with masses of character.
